Session 2 - The marketing Plan

Last week we had a look at the definition of marketing and read a few articles on why we should create a marketing plan. The reason we create a marketing plan is to get clear objectives as to what we want to achieve with a particular marketing campaign and be able to measure our success. For your assessment task, the Marketing plan has been broken down into smaller units i.e. it has been spread across assessment 2 and assessment 3 (see Assessment Guide on Moodle for full details). Here is another definition: http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/marketing.html Creating a marketing plan Before you decide what marketing materials you need, you should devise a marketing plan so that the materials that you produce will meet your organisation's marketing requirements.
